WELCOME!

Launched in late 2001 and incorporated in 2002, the Latino Association of New Brunswick Inc. (ALNB / NBLA), better known under the name "NBLatino" plays a role in the promotion and inclusion of Latino culture in the Canadian community, enhancing the values of diversity of cultural communities that comprise it, and the integration of these cultures in Canadian society. Their work is aimed at supporting cultural activities for all members of the community of Latinos are immigrants, children of immigrants, workers or college students, and promote creative activities of Latino residents in New Brunswick and in all provinces of the Atlantic zone Canada.

 

The Latino Association of New Brunswick Inc. is dedicated to providing the Latino community and the Canadian community means of interaction to facilitate the integration of cultures in the region.

For this reason, the Association has provided and created many opportunities where the ideas and expectations of its members may be shared, as an alternative space to develop their daily activities. The Association also improved its Web page which is a virtual gateway to continue promoting communication, which we consider essential in the development of the community.

Among the many leading cultural interactions of the Association are:

- the Book Club which is performed weekly during the winter months with the participation of Spanish literature lovers

- the Latino Festival, which allow the recreation of young people each week

- participation in the Cultural Expressions Festival with workshops for children and adults, and traditional dances from various regions of Latin America

- participation in the Canada Day parade

and many activities developed in the context of a creative space, all taken with interest and high enthusiasm.
